Yankee Engineering & Testing, Inc. was founded in 1990 on the principles of prompt, quality service at a competitive price.  We endeavor to provide the highest level of service and experience for your testing dollars.  Consequently, we use only knowledgeable and licensed field personnel.  Our reputation has been built upon providing prompt results, personalized service, and the ability to address engineering concerns, as they arise, through our in house registered professional engineer.

YE&T offers a wide range of quality control/material testing services and the ability to assist your firm from a project's inception to completion.   Our field personnel are experienced, equipped, and trained to provide services in more than one area during any given site visit.  They provide comprehensive reports summarizing all site activities.

Yankee Engineering & Testing, Inc. is an approved Concrete Testing Agency (CLT-032), satisfying the guidelines for ASTM D-3740 and ASTM E-329.   Our personnel and facilities have been reviewed and approved by the National Bureau of Standards and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.  We are approved by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission as a nuclear user facility.  All of our field personnel are MCIB certified, Class A concrete inspectors as well as being licensed in the operation of nuclear density gauges.  We also offer degreed staff engineers, ACI personnel and OSHA certified technicians for Superfund site remediation services and confined space entry projects.

Whitney J. Parker, P.E.

Whitney Parker is the C.E.O. and founder of Yankee Engineering & Testing, Inc.  Mr. Parker is a registered professional engineer in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the State of Connecticut.  He is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire (B.S.C.E. 1981), with over 24 years in the construction material testing industry, and 21 years of laboratory management.  Mr. Parker holds certifications as a licensed concrete inspector, nuclear density gauge operator, radiation safety officer and concrete testing laboratory director.

In addition, he is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, Boston Society of Civil Engineers, American Concrete Institute, Associated Builders & Contractors, North American Geosynthetics Society, Worcester Area Chamber of Commerce and the National Federation of Independent Business.

Mr. Parker endeavors to remain on the cutting edge of concrete technology by yearly attendance at the World of Concrete.
